Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare (FoMCAW) is an all-volunteer fundraising charitable 501(c)(3) whose goal is to enrich the lives of the Manatee County shelter animals. FoMCAW has established several campaigns through which supporters can help: The Heal My Heart Campaign which funds heartworm treatment, the Grace & Friends Medical Fund, which provides treatment of emergency medical situations, our Slumber/Enrichment Fund which gets dogs off the concrete and up on a comfortable bed and our newest endeavors, Traveling Paws, which pays transport costs to get dogs up to northern states and into forever homes and Food for Ferals which supplies food for community feral colony caregivers food for the cats.
